The Limestone Manor
Project Story
A 1930s Georgian estate had been waiting eighty years for a pool that knew how to behave. We drew a single quiet rectangle along the original garden axis, hand-set the coping from a matched limestone block, and let the boxwood do the rest of the work.
Design Challenge
Insert a pool into a 1930s Georgian property without disturbing the formal axial garden the home was designed around.
Lifestyle Outcome
A pool that reads as if it was drawn at the same time as the house — a quiet rectangle along the original garden axis.
Unique Feature
Every coping stone was sourced from a single Indiana quarry block to keep the veining continuous around all four sides.
